Ms. Deeksha Thomas , Headmistress of Santa Maria Integrated Learning environment is a graduate from Delhi University with a degree in Teacher Training in the area of Early Childhood from Polytechnic for Women, New Delhi. Ms. Thomas brings to her headship an experience of nurturing a variety of age groups in the nursery and primary spectrum and has been a part of Santa Maria for the past ten years. A dedicated and innovative teacher Ms. Thomas was part of the UKERI teacher exchange program of the British Council and visited England to familiarize herself with British practices in the area of early childhood.
Ms. Thomas has authored a series of activity books with Madhuban Publishers for nursery and primary classes and also writes poetry. Her interests also include short story writing folk art and music.
